Jingle Bells.

By foggytwo
You all know Jingle Bells........so sing along.

Dashing up the stairs.
Baby Bio in my hand.
Trying to save my Christmas tree.
Ending up in neverland.
The tinsel has all gone.
It`s looking rather bare.
I hope my poor wee Christmas tree.
Hangs on `till I get there.
---
O jingle bells, jingle bells.
I`ve got a sickly pine.
I know that you dont give a damn.
`Cause thats because it`s mine.
Jingle bells, jingle bells.
Dear Santa please help me.
To me it`s been a dear wee friend.
Since nineteen sixty three.
---
Yes I`m dashing up the stairs.
I`m feeling rather grey.
I think with a little helping hand.
It may last `till boxing day.
So when you look dont scoff.
`Cause the fairy just fell off.
She bumped her head on a shiny ball.
Which has led to a nasty cough.
---
O jingle bells, jingle bells.
My Christmas trees` expired.
The vicar said that he`d come round.
Even though he`s very tired.
He came round to comfort me.
That made me very glad.
I went and bought a brand new tree.
And now I`m not so sad.
---
O jingle bells, jingle bells.
Happy Christmas to you from me.
I`m glad I wont have this next year.
`Cause I have a brand new tree.

Thank you for the comment and verse Maureen, appreciated.

This brand new tree that I just bought.
With fairy lights and all.
Caused me a little problem.
You see, it is too tall.
At the bottom is the manger.
Alongside Joseph and Mary.
But I cannot reach the top at all.
So where do I put my fairy ?.

where do i put my fairy you ask us all.
if i may be so bold,
if on your tree, its not a fixture,
could i suggest,
your next fine picture.

you make us laugh you make us smile,
you are a clever man
we miss you when your not around,
and I'm your biggest fan

Thanks for returning Maureen and with a beauty.

I`m glad that you have been so bold.
Yes Maureen that is true.
And to make a fairy picture.
Is something I may do.
I must thank you from refraining.
To answer my question literally.
About where to put my fairy.
If not on top of my Christmas tree.
But I`m going to have another go.
To put fairy where she belongs.
And I will keep you good folk posted.
With some more Christmas songs.

Cheers Maureen.

Thank you for your comment and wee verse Brian, I really appreciate it mate.

O sickly pine, o sickly pine.
Passed away in 2009.
But all is not lost you see.
I`ve given it to charity.

Thanks again Brian.

Thanks once more Maureen, another good one.

To buy for me that sickly pine.
And convert with so much trouble.
Has brought a tear into my eye.
`Cause now my tree`s a double.
Your kindness one day I will reward.
For someone who really cares.
And as for that old sickly pine.
It will go in the window right upstairs.

Thanks again Maureen.
