Thanks for your comments Robin, this image is untouched straight out of the camera with no cropping at all. I tend not to play around with the images and I submit them just as they where taken.

The colour and texture of the statue work well with the blue sky.

Hi Ian,
Perhaps you could crop off a bit and lose the boot lower left and include the entire bayonet think that would help the shot even try a sepia version that might work.

Nice shot with green mouldy soldier against beautiful blue sky, but as with other comment would like to see end of bayonet and could have lost the stray boot.
