A study in brown

By fotobee
Tulbagh South Africa

The grass species is withering and dying away in the strong South Easterly wind, which is the signal of the last burning days of summer. However, it is still doing sterling work as a perch for Dragonflies, which is only marred by wildly swinging to and fro in the steady 60 km/hr wind. I managed to catch this dragonfly, as he was constantly gyrating, in and out of focus, about 5 times per second. The black background is natural, and is caused by the dark shadows of a privet hedge.

Thank you all kindly for looking at, voting for and commenting on my Guineafowl photo. This is wonderful.

Have a lovely day.

Best regards
