Bronze Dragonfly

By fotobee
Tulbagh South Africa

This bronze dragonfly has been displaced from its favourite perch, on top of the Aloe. The usurper is a larger, turquoise coloured specimen who has taken over this hunting field. The Bronze coloured specimen has been relegated to this far more photogenic perch, nearer my pond, and with a suitable dark background. This is in bright sunshine, and the BG is in deep shade, provided you position the camera right, which takes some acrobatic skill. This photo was taken with the set-up given in the previous write-up for the Bee and Daisy. The photo was taken with the minimum exposure setting of -2, the camera maximum.

Thank you all for looking at, voting for, and commenting on yesterdays photo.

Have a lovely Sunday

Best regards
Martin
