Clicking grass frog pair

By fotobee
Tulbagh South Africa
My little pond is still attracting frogs, this tiny pair of clickers are in their first season, and are no more than 15 to 20 mm in length. The female, the one on the right, is attracting the male by a series of clicks as can be seen by her extended pouch. The difference in colouration is marked, she being a dull brownish green while he is resplendent in his breeding colours. I only took two flash photos, and left them to get on with it.

Thank you all for looking at, voting for and commenting on my "pink" photo. This is vastly appreciated !

Have a good day !

Best regards
Martin
