The fine art of camouflage

By fotobee
Tulbagh South Africa.

Photo taken at a friends house, a few Km away.

A lesser Double Collared Sunbird male shows us how to do this to perfection !. It was virtually invisible to me through the viewfinder, and I took the photo in hopes of finding something, as I had seen the vivid flash of it landing. Only on looking at the computer screen, did the photo jump to my attention and the Sunbird stood out. I regarded this as worth showing the readers, as no matter how gaudy the colours are, they tend to make the bird disappear in its natural habitat.

Thank you all for looking at, and voting for, my photo of the sun with a halo around it. Thanks also go to cats-123 and Joline who commented on it, this was very welcome !! I have been in a bit of a photo slump recently, and have not been taking any at all. Hopefully, I have turned the corner and will be submitting more regularly in the future.

Have a lovely day !

Regards
Martin

It certainly is hard to spot...it took me awhile to see it.
