RaceGreat action and well composed. Just one little suggestion - I'd either crop even tighter at the right or clone out the handlebars and bit of wheel that are just in frame (actually, I'd do the latter, but you might rail against the idea).

Jane YoungI'm trying to figure out why this has had such little attention. I think it's excellent but there are three possible reasons I can think of. The shadow on her right side is maybe a little too deep, particularly since it bisects her eye, making it a little unsettling. The second thing is her look is a little cold. Thirdly, the highlight on her left shoulder is a bit bright. Otherwise great processing and pose with an very attractive model.

BeardyBeautifully composed and toned, looks great apart from the huge soft area in the chest. I tend to go for selective noise reduction as it's always most obvious where there's no detail, so I use a duplicate layer, set the NR and then selectively erase those bits that I want to retain sharp. Got to be worth trying something like that here because it's a beautiful photograph.

GOLDFINCHWhat a lucky bit of framing, but it was up to you to get the timing, exposure and focus right and you nailed it.
Mark Scott enjoys sun and fast sections of the Downhill SeriesNicely caught bit of action. I would crop a little tighter along the top, just below the top of the snow to focus in on the action a little better.

Warming Down

Warming DownSmashing shot - I thought it was by Jouco, which is quite a compliment. One very minor crit - it looks just a tad oversharpened as there's a fine highlight along the edges of the deep shadows. Nothing that can't be fixed.

where the stars don't shineI nhave to confess I thought the compositional rules were intentionally broken so I didn't raise them in my post. Diana, The historgram tends to show as an irregular triangle between two vertical axes. The data towards the left hand side represents the dark areas of the image and the data to the right the light areas. A "correct" histogram has all of the information inside the axes and, ideally, just touching the vertical axes. If the chart extends beyond the left axis the image is underexposed and beyond the right it is overexposed. If you adjust the "Amount", "Luminosity" , "Gamma" and black and white point sliders in your HDR programme they all have an effect on the histogram, spreading or compacting it horizontally. To get a more natural image you want the histogram adjusted as I have described above. But, then again, the rules are made to be broken......

Paper cut

Paper cutFor an image like this to work it has to be really simple with more form and symmetry. This would work better if the tree trunk was visible between the ground and the canopy, the horizon was straight and the fence posts were absent. A more symmetrical tree would also help. Nothing wrong with experimentation though so keep it up.

fassionNice image - I would crop right in to the edges of the boats in a square crop though to focus on the geometric arragement and remove any extraneous detail.

ArrowGreat original pose, love the geometry of it as as a counterpoint to the curves and softness of her skin. I like the colour cast you have applied as well. Great shot.

GossamerHi Jools, just had a look at Morten's work. I don't know if it's the effect of the Lido Dancers series that you're after but, if it is, I think you might need a more transparent sheet and a frontal light between you and the sheet, with a secondary light shining onto the sheet to get the misty effect. There should also be a bit of distance between you and the sheet, with the sheet being well out of focus.
