Peak White Water ...

By sut68
... a landscape version this time Grin

Hope you're having a great weekend so far. Eventful afternoon for me after a van slammed into my neighbours [parked] vehicle this afternoon ... the two lads got out a little shaken and aching but at least no-one was seriously injured, but it did move it about 18 feet [with the handbrake on]. Just finishing of dinner, so I'll catch up in a little while Smile

0.3 sec at f9, ISO 100 + 0.3 ND Grad.

Cheers for looking in,
Paul

Both are excellent imho. At first I was convinced I preferred v1 but having spent some time looking I'm now leaning towards v2. The softer symmetry of this version just steals it for me.

Fabulous. This was taken in one of my favourite areas. Any chance of a bit of techy with this?

Nicely framed and its those jets[V1] off the leaf is what does it for me.
Congrats.

It's been a devil of a job choosing my favourite photograph of the week but V1 edges out photographs by Burnblue, Bekkas an Mhari among others that I'd shortlisted. I love the contrast of the rocks and water in terms of texture as well as colour, and those little jets coming off the smaller rock really add impact and make the water seem pure. Great work.

both stunning and i love slow exposure fluffy type blur but this occasion i think the extra texture detail makes the image. wonderful abstract.

i think a v3 with an emperor penguin leaping out of the wave and v4 with a surfer hanging 10 - only joking, you have achieved perfection already Grin

I have to admit that, although I usually prefer a bit of structure in water, it has to be V2 for me today...I'm just loving that "silky milky" effect (and the phrase - must remember it!) Smile

Thanks you two, much appreciated guys ... LOL at V3 & V4 suggestion too Peter Wink

Silky Milky is a Copyrighted phrase Cathy, careful use of it is required but I would recommend seeking permission from Tooth [Stephen] first ... just to be sure, to be sure Grin

V2 for me I think. I like the softer look so that your eye is drawn to the jets off the leaf.

It is frustrating sometimes looking at all this fast flowing water on here. You pretty much have to go to a water feature in someone's garden if you want to see that in Suffolk Sad.
