I love the view down the avenue of trees, and the lone figure walking along it. I also love what you've done with the pastel effect, it works. It's a lovely late summer/early autumn scene and there's a gentleness about it that's very endearing. I really like the fact that you've chosen to exclude the sky completely from this one, as I think that then puts the main focus of the viewer very much on the trees and that lone walker, which is where it should be.

However (and this is just a personal view, remember) ... I'd love to see this given some really dark processing to completely change the overall feeling of lightness and sunshine. The scene at the end of the avenue is (I think?) of houses and/or a building site? (Not sure whether the blue blob is a portacabin, or some such building site material?) As such, it's kind of distracting from the rest of the scene and could be easily faded out a bit.

There are always so many options with any image as to how it can be processed, and it always comes down to the choice of the photographer themselves in the end. So if you're happy with this as it stands, then feel free to tell me to butt out Grin
