Weasel eyes...

By Fred263
Thanks for your clicks, comments & votes to my previous image for which I'm most appreciative & your continued support. I was delighted by the response to my previous image & the precious GEA received from Pamela(ladynewbury). I would also like to thank those individuals who awarded me their highly valued UAs. I sent individual PMs to those individuals thanking them for their awards.

I hope you may like my images today which was taken a year ago at BWC in Lingfield, Surrey. It's difficult for me to see why the expression "weasel eyes" has a negative connotation. The weasel was a pleasure to watch as it darted around in the sunshine & it also posed for me. Smile It's one of Britain's smallest carnivores at half the size of a stoat. It climbs well & often raids birds nests ( that is badSad) Then, again, everything in Nature has a purpose which we struggle to understand sometimes. It's widely persecuted by game keepers but it is widespread & common on mainland Britain.

Thanks for looking & have a great day.Smile

Couple of cracking images of this delightful animal. V2 takes it for me by a small margin
