SPARROWHAWK ON OUR FENCE.

By simmo73
Good evening everyone,
Many many thanks for your kind support and much appreciated award for my
Robin images(U/A thanked) So pleased you liked it. Today We were watching the rugby when this Sparrowhawk landed on our fence, I grabbed my camera and fired some shots. Unfortunately I had my 24-200 mm lens on so had to heavily crop the image. Nevertheless I thought I would share it with you.Taken through glass. Oop's sorry folk's I had already sent my thank's for the Robin images it should have read the Egret image.( It's my age )
Have a lovely Sunday
Geoff

Even full screen, it's held up quite well – the benefit of a high resolution body! An exciting and unexpected moment, well recorded.

I had one kill a pigeon in my garden, then stop 40 minutes eating it. It then left but came back on the night and left with what was left of the pigeon. So cracking shot Geoff, you grab whatever you can with wildlife
