on reflection....

By frogsrcool
you see so much more through the macro lens. This was just going to be a close-up of a rain drop, and then i saw the garden fence in it.

Just thought i'd try something different!

Nice one. The drop looks so full of detail it looks like one of those snow shakers.

Great shot Karen, lovely reflection and composition. Good depth of field too.

P.S.: Did you use RAW format when taking this photo? If you did, I think you can improve the sharpness, tones and color saturation to make the water droplet more stand out. I have some water droplets photos in my gallery. Playing around with RAW format were very helpful.

a very good capture.

Could try turning it around, on top of the twig, adding some snowflakes, like those thingies we used see as kids !!.

Sorry late... I'll get my coat.

thank you all for your encouraging comments

Dj - I didn't use RAW format (haven't ever tried it cos i know you can't get many photos on a disk. I also don't think i have a program that will allow me to convert - need advice on that one!) I will check your droplets out now.

Tommie - thanks, that would be a novel idea to create my own snowstorm thingie! You mean you don't still have one Wink
