You are boring me!

By frogsrcool
Yeah - one or two of you may have seen this a couple of days ago! I put it up - then took it down cos i wasnt' happy with it.

Taken at Cotswold Wildlife Park. He was happy to lie there on his dinner (the hay!) in the mud - just moved an eye now and again (and his ear!). Not sure if i have got the crop right - i think it works

I like how the side lighting has brought out the textures in the skin. The crop works well for me too.

+ve: Excellent lighting for the subject, as prev mentioned it brings out the texture of the skin really well. Good strong diagonals here.

-ve: Only very very minor but I'd expand the crop very very slightly so the ear shadow isn't touching the border. Nowt apart from that.

thanks for the comments - appreciated. Lauren thanks for the crop info - i hadn't even noticed the shadow (was too busy looking at the ear!) - must keep going back to the photo to check! Worth noting that tho Wink

Oh good, it's back!

Agree with Lauren about the minor cropping alteration but apart from that this is spot on. Like it a lot. Lovely textures in the skin.
