I have been busy in the last few months with my construction photography business, but i dont really post that stuff on here ,,, but what the hell ..... this was one of many for a client who supplies those 'concrete pans' ( the rectangle things) for a major project here in Adelaide ,,, the new Adelaide Airport ... with the help of Amelia we managed to get permission to be in the box hanging at the end of the crane ( see variant) ... i got some amazing shots from up there ,,, and it was hell windy, that thing was swaying big time ...oh and i had some kind of gastro ,,,, bad ,,,... but i pulled it off and this was one of my faves ... this really needs to be viewed HUGE to be appreciated ... A0 rocks
Take it easy

LOL - this gives me vertigo too. I would love to have been able to photograph this from up above - I only photograph out hotel windows!

Love the shadows especially here, the real people look distorted from the perspective but their shadows look more like the real thing.

Question: did you try it in black and white? It's just where my head is these days and I could just see it reduced to shapes and shadows/highlights........

V1 is like looking down on a child's toys, maybe a Meccano set. I like Anne's b&w idea...

Jeez-oh! Love the contrast, and the 'random' positioning of the various bits and pieces below. Rather you then me, mate, especially with the gastro nuisance ..... Wink
