King of the Hills

First, many thanks to all for the kind comments and condolences left on my previous image dedicated to my wife.

After a lot of phone calls both Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, I took myself out for a walk in Derbyshire to clear my head....and I took my Fuji just in case. The sun of course soon vanished, though there were quite a lot of Deer about for the Autumn rut....so I did take a few photos. Not having a really long lens, I stuck to my intended pathway (unlike a lot of photographers stalking them!)...but I did like this one, taken as I walked up to White Edge. Not that close obviously, but good enough for me Smile

Sometimes th wider view is better, this shows the environment well and we get the sense of the wilderness.
