Thank you all for your comments. It has been most encouraging to read them and to see the suggested modifications. I am a rather elderly photographer, not very expert at post processing and have never submitted anything for critiquing before. I appreciate the gentleness of your critiquing and will probably summon up courage to do so again in the future. If I can take a photograph that I think is worth submitting.
