"Shocking" colours !

What on "Earth" am I saying.

I should be more "Posative" .

Was it a "Live Shot?"

Not run-of-the-mill, that's certain! Like the lovely grain in the wood as well as that multitude of wires.

Hi Gerry, thanks for your comment - we met several times here, but how ever... I have been cut off from phone and internet for more than seven weeks - provider difficulties. One wouldn't believe it possible these days, but reality is proving the opposite. Well.... now I am back and hope it stays that way.

This is a very interesting species... well seen!

I'd have been tempted to get a sharp knife, & peel back some more of the black insulation, giving your flower longer "petals". But then I'm a cheeky fellow. Mind you, It'd have been my luck to be caught red handed by a big, burly, very dischuffed telephone engineer!! Smile

Nice idea, nice to see someone thinking. It's surprising what you can find within a short walk from your home.

I just feel that the contrast & colour need pepping up a little.

BTW, did you shoot with "live" view ??!? Smile

I love this image. Don't touch it! The flag off to the side, adds intrigue. If you had this to do-over however, I would focus more on the coloured wires. They are the focal point of the photograph, thus need to be tack sharp. Other than that, there is nothing I don't like about this shot. well done.
