Captain Croft

By gagsy
Regretting the lack of zoom on my digital camera, I played around one day shooting some photo's through my binoculars. Even though the image isn't the sharpest I like the way the eye-piece of the binoculars framed the shot.

Good to see a fellow cricket enthusiast (at least I assume you are!). Good effort to do this, obviously not as good as a real telephoto, and unfortunate that the umpire is peeping out in places so Crofty doesn't stand out as he should (he was in my Fantasy team this year!). WSmile

You assume correctly Wendy, I have spent the past 3 summers trying to convince Sweden of the joys of cricket. With Bob in your side I am sure you had a good season.

Sounds like you didn't succeed! Forgot to mention - did you see I had a photo of Craig White in full flow - it's about 2 or 3 pages back in my portfolio, and called (imaginatively) 'In full flow'!

We're succeeding slowly, we have a national league and have got the mid-order collapse down to a Tee!!

Oh dear!!! But still great news that the game is spreading...I know quite a few Dutch (female) players, they come over to the UK for our annual 'Cricket Week' - and we had some Indians join us this year as well.
