Main Street Plaza

By gajj
Back to my urban project after getting distracted by pink flip flops!
Main Street Plaza is a section of main street in Salt Lake City "sold" to the local predominant church in Utah - there is a beautiful but controversial walkway now erected but the notion still sticks in the craw of many locals not of the predominant faith. The walkway is entrance to the church/temple grounds. Part of the grounds houses the church's geneology/research building many stories high with a walkway to the other side of main street.

I liked the abstract image created by the skyviews in the ceiling of the walkway.

Comments and suggestions always wonderful.

Yes, this makes a very nice abstract and the composition of diagonals and circles works well.

I like the way none of the circles are complete, leaving the brain of the viewer to do the work. Might be strengthened by a right crop to remove the bit in the bottom right corner, maybe?

Well the last time I was there that church pretty much owned the state and that was in 1978. They have real money too, hard to fight that kind of machine. But every once in a while if you stir up enough commotion they can be made to back down. Nice shot and hang in there, Spot on! Click!!!
