Solitude

By gajj
Western Utah desert wilderness area is a wild place, full of stark vistas, rough dirt roadways and nary a soul in sight most of the time. The weather and lighting change rapidly, from arid white heat to roiling thunder clouds and everything inbetween. This afternoon, clouds softly formed filtering the light just before a frigid cold rain blew in from the West.

Camping in the desert isn't for the meek of heart but speaks always to the soul...

Beautiful harmonizing colors on this simple view. Love the sky with the moon peeking in from the left.

As always the unusual and in this case understated view of the world. Beautiful blend of colors and textures.

This is very beautiful Jan. Lovely stormy light and sky enhanced by your stark and lonely rock formation. A big click
