Summer: Wild Grass in Wind

By gajj
Late morning, near too windy to be taking pictures, but a nice time to learn and experiment. Summer grasses blowing at the Bear River Bird Refuge, Utah USA. Going back to all manual in an effort to learn more about what I'm actually doing...tolerence appreciated as I experiment, comments and suggestions for improvement always welcome and useful!

Well done, you can feel the motion, just a suggestion, but it does not appear it was to bright out, I would try increasing the ISO and bring in more light in the stalk ends to see if more detail can be caught. Just a suggestion, Spot on! Click!!!

great feeling to this shot, small suggestion is for me the RHS of the picture is stronger and I would crop it accordingly, really nice as it is though. Ian

Thank you. Greg, I just read last night about increasing the ISO on such situations so thanks for the tip, I will definitely give it a try (if, hopefully, I remember!).

I just love those colours, Jan, and the movement in the grasses. As Magda says above, very impressionistic.
