One of the wolrd's beautiful buildings. And, I think perhaps virewed best at night. I remember visiting it, and standing the the immense courtyard, and reflecting on what a spiritual connection I felt there perhaps sensing in its grandeur, my own insignificance in the universe. Which I suspect was entirely intended by the architect.

And, this Is a great photo of the wonderful building.

Thank you, Peter. I loved the Blue Mosque and felt overwhelmed by it too, but not necessarily in a spiritual way. While I fell no connection with the muslim religion, I can understand the meaning of such a grandiose edifice for those who worship in this place.
