An Lionán (Leenane)

By Ganto
Beanachtaí dibh go léir ón Gaeltacht!
The tiny harbour in Leenane Co. Galway, typical of many around Connemara.

Tóg go bog é.

Beautiful . Does that mean " A gaelic blessing to you" - I learned some Scottish gaelic in primary school and it looks a bit similar.

Lovely scene Pat. As you say, typical of the area. Would have liked a bit of a reflection or detail on the water.

Dar liomsa ar aon nós.

I visited this area a few years back and stayed in a B&B between the Rivers Erriff and Delphi. The landladie's husband had salmon nets in Killary Harbour and made us a meal of fresh Salmon and mussels he had caught that day. It was just delicious. Fond memories indeed.
Thank you for bringing it all back to me with this great image.
