Brands Hatch: Season opener of the BTCC.

This is Matt Neal, in his Team Halfords Honda Integra, making an audacious move on Rob Collard, in his Team RAC MG ZS, into Clearways. A move that he pulls off through the Clarke curve onto the Brabham straight, however in the braking area for Paddock Hill Bend Rob is caught out and taps Matt into a spin, taking Matt out of the race. This brings the third & final race of the day to a premature end. After the event, Rob is penalised for the move and excluded from the race results, and will also incur a 6 place penalty in the next race.

Anyhow, about the photo taken from the viewing area at Clearways, exposure was 125s @ F11, and I panned to follow the action.

Also had the pleasure of meeting Pete Sincock (PSin) , his son fresh up from the mine, and Petes mate John. Nice to see you Pete, catch up at Thruxton Smile

Feel free to offer critique.

Thanks to everyone how looked, commented or clicked on my previous shot, I appreciate it.

what a ' cool ' shot I think the effect on the background caused by the panning is excellent as is the focus on the leading car
