DOF used in this way is a very effective tool...& you have used it well....no need for you to apologize Gary.
This is a very beautiful shot with a fabulous range of tones in it. As far as I'm concerned the composition is spot on too!

Nice shot,

Just seeing the top of the sternum (white thing in the middle Smile) is great. I initially stood up to try and see more - doh..... Keep up the good work.

Very nice tones Gary...the macro has not missed any of the intricate detail and the blues feature well in all the varieties of colours. Nicely executed.
