Nile River Cruise

My wife and I have Just come back from a week long break cruising on the river Nile, by far the best holiday We've ever had.
From Luxor to Aswan, taking in breath taking scenery and ancient temples as well as modern Egypt.

Due to the recent troubles the tourism industry which makes up a huge part of the economy has collapsed on a large scale, our boat would hold I believe around 200 but only 30 of us was on board, which for us all was a good thing, as we all became very good friends by the end of the trip, the places we visited were almost empty so no hanging around. But the other side of the coin was sad as the Egyptian people are desperate with a lack of money and no help from the Government, Hopefully that will change in time.
