Burgh Castle

By Gaz_H
Another winter shot of the old roman fort of Burgh Castle - not the easiest place to try for a landscape shot. The hoar frost was the second most impressive i've seen in the past four years.

Terrific image best viewed large so as the detail can be seen at its best. The sun on the vast brick structure adds greatly to the image. Nice one Gary. Smile

Brilliant shot Gary, looks a slippery climb and the sun was shining for you too. Excellent image.

A beautiful shot exhibiting strong composition, wonderful light and clarity and natural tones throughout. Happy to give this my 'Half tidy' award - which actually means very, very tidy indeed, Gaz.
