Weathering Heights ...

By sut68
The weather was quite inclement to begin with on top of Twisleton Scar, but when it began to break there was just something magical about the quality of light if yielded ... made it all worth while!!! Smile

Felt this had a Brontė-esque feel to it, hence the title.

Hope your Tuesday goes well and thanks for looking in.

Paul

Bronte, artistic titles and tactile paper ..... I'm beginning to worry about you. That said if you keep churning out images of this quality then we can overlook your impending madness.

Super contrast. I think its the line of grass between the two scars that makes this composition. It breaks it up beautifully.

LOL Dazzler ... you had me worried there Wink

As mentioned above mate, this has have very little processing done to it as the conditions were just so right for a brief while. I have one shot just before this which was nearly right and one after where the light was a little too harsh ... looking at the metadata on them there was only 40 seconds difference between all 3 mate.

Cheers for your time,
Paul

If I'd dared to tell any or all of our party when it was pouring with rain and we were dragging my car out of the rutted lay-by [long story] before dawn, that anyone of us would get a shot that would amass this amount of votes and comments - they would've swiftly got onto their mobiles and phoned the funny farm to come and collect me ... so you can see, there's a helluva lot of luck in getting this quality of light Penny. Though I suppose you seriously increase your chances of getting it if you actually make the effort though Wink

Thanks very much for your time,
Paul
