  • the forest

    hi john, its an out-take from a mag shoot i did yesterday. being dry season here in zambia with few leaves on the trees, there was very intense sunshine in the forest. i over exposed the shot using a shallow dof and then converted to b&w in ps and used levels to bring back some contrast on the girl. Used shutter speed of 1/45sec to get some movement. gareth

  • Misty morning

    Hi natasha, guess it wasnt the same one, but we lost a business associate in a plane crash last week in the escarpments between here and lower zambezi. Very misty day, no one knows what happened - was a Star of Africa charter as far as I know, but all 3 on board were killed. Not the same one? a little nervous as I am flying to the luangwa on a single prop plane tomorrow...

    thanks for your comments everyone, sarah, this set is for a fundraising and awareness raising drive in the US. the same project i did this for also feed, clothe and school over 200 orphans. will post more from these in the next couple days.
