Alghero Dawn

By geffers7
Not been around much as I've been on holiday in Sardinia - this is the first upload from there. Alghero is famed for its dramatic sunsets but I'm more of a dawn person - this is the Las Tronas hotel - reputedly the best in town - once used by visiting Italian royalty and with a nod to the towns Catalan past is the honorary Spanish consulate.
The mountain in the distance is Capo Caccia - known as the sleeping giant for obvious reasons but is also where the limestone caves are situated.

The cool colours of early day with warmer tones interspersed: a fine composition with good f/g detail and interest, and the 'sleeping giant' showing up well on the horizon.
I look forward to more from this idyllic spot, Geoff.....both Sardinia and Corsica I've read about but have never visited.
Ronnie.

A rather stunning capture, superb composition and the light works so very well. A great amount of detail has been retained in this image, which I consider to be rather special.
