Something different for me today, I had to try to take a still life shot for a competition in my camera club so at 11pm the night before the entry deadline I was rushing around looking for something to photograph.

I remembered this old set of scales that was down in my workshop and loaded it with what was left of my dog's weekly supply of raw carrots, she loves them and eats a couple of kilos of these every week.

Anyway, the competition was last night, I didn't win but the judge really liked this photo so all my work was not in vain.

I think the Tungsten lighting is excellent for this capture Geoff, great background and clarity, I have car problems so could not make it to club last night, I understand from Glyn by email that i won the competition, not sure of marks or who come second and third.

Thanks everyone Smile

Yes Trev, you did win.....again Wink
I sent you a PM on here last night explaining it all, go look in your messages Smile
I lit this with a small LED light and to compensate for the blue light I wrapped a few sweet wrappers saved from Christmas over the end of the torch to warm it up.
If you'd told me about your car I'd have picked you up on the way.
