Black Kite in flight

First attempt at capturing birds in flight. I think it's a black kite, but please correct me if I'm mistaken. Got a new 7DmkII and the Canon 100-400mkII so thought I'd have a go. Picture taken at Kielder Bird of Prey Centre in Northumberland. A little tweaking and a big crop in Lightroom. Any tips on further improving the processing in Lightroom or Photoshop most welcome.

Excellent shot, Geordie., capturing the bird's action. In winter time there are quite a lot of red kites roosting near the old railway viaduct along the Derwent Walk, Gateshead. ( near Rowlands Gill)
