Puffin in flight

By GeorgeLedger
Its always good seeing the Puffins coming back to the island with sand eels but this one has caught a monster!
Everyone is aware of the Puffins colourful but big beak but take at look at its toe nails - which it uses to dig out its burrow!

A great capture, love the description! I noticed the claws last week when I was taking puffin shots on the Isle of May - they look quite sharp.
