Isfahan Bazzar - 1977

The bazaar in Isfahan. Taken about 1977.
The camera was an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic SP II - possibly using a Tukumar 28mm f/2.8 lens. and (according to the slides) Kodachrome film. The projected slide was copied using a Pentax K5 digital camera.

When I look at this image I wonder about those young men. Did they survive the Iran-Iraq war? Here in the US we seem to have forgotten that war - one where we supported Iraq before we decided they were really the enemy.

Lovely with some old stuff. This was aroud the same time i had photo as a hobby the first time. 35 years later i have it as a hobby again Smile
