The Trouble with Lichen

By GeorgeP
I get a guilty conscience each time I trim a tree or bush. It seems there are multiple interrelated environments in my garden. I usually don't notice these lichens from one year to the next and yet, they are always there and are every bit as interesting as the blossom that only lasts for a week each spring.

The version was taken with a Pentax K10 converted for IR.

PS: Trouble with Lichen was a SF novel published by John Wyndham in the 60s

As much as I love my IR camera, I think these chaps need colour to show the subtle differences in the greens and greys
