Between the sea and the desert

By ColleenA
Hi from Namibia....sand, sand and more sand......
Not the best image, snapped with my I PAD on the road between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund....sand one side and sea the other...sadly no post processing straight from IPad ...
Have such stunning images on my Nikon, cannot wait to get home to process them...

Bit of an onshore breeze by the look of those white horses, Namibia looks a nice warm place.
Nice image Colleen but anywhere with a road to Swakopmund gets my vote.
Have a lovely break.

Patty, the water is about 17-18 deg, you wouldn't catch me in the sea in that temperature...Grin I will go for a stroll on the beach late afternoon though...

The best camera for the job is the one you have in your hand at the time...
That's a lot of sand...they need that bagged up and shipped to the south-west of England at the moment, Colleen.

Very well captured, Colleen, even if only on your iPad! The quality from them is quite good, but they're not the best size and shape for snapping (though I saw many being used for this purpose on holiday, especially in Rome), and I've not used mine much for photography Wink But best to capture images rather than not at all, at least you can tweak them afterwards if you need to!
