Storm drain 1

By geranium
I really liked the construction and colours of this old storm drain on the beach at New Brighton. It would normally be a really boring subject but the rust and algae were really bright against the seawashed concrete.

Lovely composition and colours. The great big grin it appears to be wearing is fun too.

"Storm drain 1" sounds like a (mini-) series of storm drains are in the "pipeline" Bev.
If so, I'm sure that must be a first for ePz (doubtless someone may correct me on this!).

The offsetting of the drain from the centre works well and the colours show what beauty can be found in the most unlikely places. Excellent observation on your part.

Now all you have to do is go back there when said drain is fulfilling its purpose in life......
