Thank you for your comments. The Editor's choice award is especially welcome. This is the first time I have been to a cycle race and taken this type of shot. This shot was take without autofocus, I watch the bikes go round the course a couple of times, then set the camera to take one shot at a shallow depth of field. Then waited for a rider to come into the frame at the right focal length. This was my second shot.

Three hand held shots, then layered in photoshop, processed in Nik Software. Then Topaz Adjust for final finishing with some dodge and burn on right hand side.
I didn't notice the birds on the beach until I had finished.

Thank you very much for the award Ronnie. There was about 15 kids running through the fountain, but this little girl looked more like a ballet dancer.

THIS PICTURE IS NOT HDR. The heavy HDR comment is wrong. The shot was taken on the hill above the village with a sigma 150 - 500 lens. all post processing was done with Nik software.

Well done Neil, top composition. Our govenment have given all our money to the banks for bonuses, even though they caused this **** in the first place. Then they put up the price of food, gas electric and petrol, but stop wage rises. Then they say we should pay the banks the money back we have borrowed. What money, they've already got it. Then they decide to print more money to give to the banks, which they say will help us. HOW? I hear politicians saying they understand how hard it is for us, but I don't see Banker losing there bonuses,or politicians taking pay cuts.
