Thank you for your comments. The Editor's choice award is especially welcome. This is the first time I have been to a cycle race and taken this type of shot. This shot was take without autofocus, I watch the bikes go round the course a couple of times, then set the camera to take one shot at a shallow depth of field. Then waited for a rider to come into the frame at the right focal length. This was my second shot.
Tough sport...........I'm watching Le Tour at the moment and I'm exhausted going up those mountains..............
Really excellent, homing in on one competitor's personal struggle. We're following part of the Tour of Britain in September, doubt I'll get anything up to this.
