Lilac Breasted Roller in flight

By Gezina
Thank you for c'c on the Southern White Crowned Shrike - always appreciated.
I was so excited when I finally managed to land this shot of the Lilac Breasted Roller in flight - have however taken it on a fair distance away and loss of detail in the crop made for a disappointing shot - unlike Grahams (see portfolio of Gray_ina for comparrison) Also wish my PS skills were better so will upload the mod option for someone out there to improve the shot if possible. Ina

It might have been a distant shot Ina but still a great capture and well timed with the wing position.

This is a stunning shot Ina, in spite of the loss of detail due to distance. Agree with Richard and Roger that the wing shape/position is super - a great addition to your PF.

Cracking attempt Ina, I would still be glad of this in my PF. The one I have got from 10 or more years ago was on slide film and is even further away than this one.

It's difficult to improve on a heavily cropped shot Ina but I've had a go at improving it, a cracking shot, you must be so pleased with this one,
