Female Bullfinch

Thank you so much for your kind support on the Male Bullfinch, much appreciated.
Now I was quite happy to have taken some shots of the Male but on the way back to the visitor centre the I startled the female and she flew around me only to perch on this weed, I was on my knees ( I know there are more things than praying that gets me on my knees Grin) inching my way forward, by then the light was poor and for once I will upload Exif data, but I was really pleased to land a few shots of a female as well - Ina

Came out really well Ina considering the bad light, if you stretched your hand out I'm sure she would have let you stroke her. Have never known a bird let you get so close as that one did.
