Great pose and portrait. Your eyes stand out nicely without overpowering the overall photo. Great job.

While your eyes look great, I'm not sure about the blue tint running into the the white so much, then again maybe it's that which makes them stand out so much?

Yet another captivating self portrait

(I must admit that I am not to sure about the blue tint in the whites of the eye as well).

Great portrait with ideal lighting, and great focus on the eyes.

I believe the blue tint in the eye is the reflection of the light from the window. I am guessing that there was a cooling treatment to this photo, giving the whites a bit of a blue. (I might be wrong)
I find it amazing how light reflects off eyes..not at all how you would expect! Great portrait! Incredible focus.

Great portrait. All the more impressive for being a self portrait in natural light.

Lovely SP, the natural light really enhances the skin tones.....my only crit would be (someone said this to me on this site) that when you crop, don't leave half the ear showing. either all or most in or not at all.

cathy...fellow window light person.

very nice, but as mentioned, the white of the eyes being blue is a bit of a letdown.

I didn't really notice the blue in the white of my eyes...now that you all mentioned it, it really starts to annoy me,
i think it comes from the blinds in front of my window which are blue, making the light in my room kind of blue, when I don't fold them away completely...

I do like the way VS mode brings “old” photos into view again. I doubt I would have found this gem otherwise. This is a fantastic portrait – and a wonderful introduction to a very special portfolio.
One question . . . . with such wonderful talent, have you stopped photography? The latest image in your portfolio was uploaded years ago?
