Broken Spirit

The portrait was taken at a hairdressing salon. I wanted her to look cold. The window was from a derelict house. Lots of work to get the effect I was after, but happy with the final image.

very well done gib, but im not sure the leavs they taking all my attencion, and the model is to much in the shadow for me, but I like this picture.

Very effective. Good idea and good work. As a suggestion, try a sepia filter on the layer with the leaves to get a softer introduction to your model. You've got it where you want it, but playing around with it might be fun. Yvonne

The leaves are actually the main element of the picture as I it will be used for Autumn colours. I have tried to make the girl look like she is behind the wind. The broken part was lighten slighten to add to that effect. Thanks for the ideas and thoughts so far.

I like what you have done here, but because you have three elements to the picture, they somehow need drawing together. A frame in some form (doesn't have to be heavy) or an 'edge' would finish it, otherwise it seems to 'drift'.

In terms of the effect you have created, very Wuthering Heights . . .
