Jenny Wren

By GillyB
Out walking this morning I looked up and saw this little wren singing in the tree ... lucky I had my camera with me Smile

Many thanks for taking a look and any advice is always welcome.

A superb shot of this diminutive wee bird, the plumage detail tip top and with a nice catch of light in the eye. The diagonal organisation enhances the shot and the subject is well placed in the frame.
Perhaps just a pity there's a bright branch in the b/g that draws the eye, but on the other hand it does help to show off and delineate the wren all the more.
Certainly a worthy shot to which I am pleaded to offer my UA, Gill.

Superb image and caught on the hoof!
No tripod presumably and still a perfect shot.
Plumage detail is wonderful and nice catchlight.

I'm no expert on birds but you've got some good detail. My eye is drawn to those long and sharp claws!

Such a beautifully sharp image. They usually scurry around my garden in the shadows like tiny mice. This is a brilliant shot.

Thank you Ann, and also thank you Carole for your prestigious UAGrin

They do in mine too Carole, I was so pleased to see this little one although she soon darted back down to the undergrowth.
