Sun Worship

By GillyB
This sculpture is at The Osoyoos Indian Heritage Centre on the edge of the Osoyoos Desert - Canada. Pretty much as it came out of the camera, the colours and the smoky effect was due to a forest fire on a nearby hillside.

A belated welcome to EPZ, Gill. I love this - the way you've composed it so that the Indian appears to be calling to the sun is remarkably effective.

Found it. Great shot. Like the way you placed the sun.
We took the two Grade 5 classes from my school to the aboriginal desert centre in late June. Had a great time.
