The Joshua Tree

By GillyB
One from a trip to California in January ..... only just finding the time to process the images as I have been struggling with my PC which crashed every time I tried to do anything Sad

However, as from this week I now have the new mac book pro and a sparkly thunderbolt monitor Grin ... all a bit new and to someone who has never used a mac before it is almost like learning a foreign language but hey ho Smile

So, this is from Joshua Tree National Park in the Mojave Desert where the trees are strange and the rock formations even stranger!

Many thanks for taking a look and any advice is always most welcome.

A well thought out composition with the main tree well placed and its support of smaller specimens in the background. Lovely image, Gill.

A very indicative image of California Gill. An excellent POV too, we have seen these incredible tree's near the Grand Canyon.

Gilly,
I'm glad you were able to finally get this one to us. This is a wonderful shot of one of our (my wife and I) favorite places in the world.
When we first moved to California in 1977 we immediately fell in love with all of the desert parks (Joshua Tree, Death Valley, Anza-Borrego, etc.).
Nicely done.
