The Strid

By GillyB
The River Wharfe in the Yorkshire Dales. Two miles north of Bolton Abbey the river rushes through a narrow gorge known as the Strid. Just a stride width from one bank to the other (hence the name) it was a common sport to jump across ... there have been fatalities!

Many thanks as always for your time.

Great composition and colour; and the water looks like real flowing water, not just etherial mist.
