West Sands

By GillyB
Back to colour, but thank you to all those who commented and voted on my last black and white efforts and a big thank you to Dave (whiterose1) for his much appreciated UA.

This was from our last weekend trip to St Andrews in Scotland. It is the 'Chariots of Fire' beach for those of you old enough to remember the film Smile

Late afternoon and very cold but at least some made it down for a paddle.

Many thanks as always for your time.

A stunning beach scene--- great expanse of different environments making a number of contrasts! Nice!

Some lovely blocks of colour and the figures, though small, add so much. Is that a lost/stray tripod?

A very beautiful day to visit the beach. You've captured a lovely composed image. Do like those little people enjoying the day.

You've made good use of the foreground to capture what I consider a difficult beach with which to get a satisfactory composition. The figures are perfect.
