Boy of the Dogon People

By RobDougall
Another portrait, this of a young boy of the Dogon people from a small village on the Bandiagara escarpment in Mali, West Africa. I've put a couple of images of the village in for anyone that's interested.
Thanks to those of you who responded so encouragingly to the two portraits posted recently and for taking the time to have a look at this one.
Hope you have a good weekend

A fascinating set of images, Rob. V.1 is fantastic, is there any reason why the lad is wearing so much gold jewellery? Carol
