The small wood between the two main fields at Prestbury Hill Nature Reserve near Cheltenham a week last Monday when there was over a foot of snow on the ground.
Speaks of a stormy day-- Like this composition!
This is lovely. Like the faint colour. Well composed image Ed......Sandy
Wonderful! I am envious as all we can seem to muster this year is a dusting! Patti
You have taken full advantage of the snowy misty conditions this winter, Ed, and have captured a huge series of fine shots, this being another: a like your composition here and again the B and W presentation adds to the sense of extreme chilliness in the air.
Love the composition, Ed, super capture. Carol
An excellent composition, Ed - really well taken.
Beautiful composition and tones. Lovely work!
Beautiful scene Ed,
My favourite from one of your coillections, Ed.
A wonderful snow scene to make us realise we must embrace
the beauty of snow an dhow it can transform everything around.
Excellent wintry scene Ed.
So cool how this looks almost like a mono, Ed I love the 'layers' of trees and the various shades (not quite 50, though) of grey.
Such a beautiful shot.
Like the little hints of colour in this. Certainly allows the full force of the chill to reach out!
An eerie looking wood this time Ed, even though it looks pretty with the snow, makes you wonder what might be lurking in there lol. like it you certainly made the most of the snow, excellent, regards Leon.
A really good feel to this one Ed', ( albeit a cold one) well done.
Beautiful and well composed image, very well done,
There's that stile again inviting me into the woods - lovely.
Nice one, Ed.
I love this composition Ed - I think it's my favourite of your foray in the snow.
Woods are mysterious places, especcially on days like this, Ed. Have you considered a dramatic b&W version of this? Think it would really work well.

This is my favourite of your series. I like the strength of the tree trunks and stile, and the misty background.
Beautifully atmospheric shot
Many thanks for all your comments and clicks, they are much appreciated, Ed
Once again the B&W presentation is adding greatly to these winter shots Ed, though I'm beginning to feel a hankering to see just one in colour for comparison's sake!
